This Couple Turned a Beastly Military Truck Right into a Bohemian Overlander

[ad_1]

The converted Army truck in this YouTube video tour has every comfort for long-term travel — and it looks like an absolute beast.

Remember the days when owning a Hummer seemed like the most badass thing ever? Because those sturdy military vehicles look quaint compared to the overlanding giants of today.

This video takes viewers on a tour of a custom-built 1994 Stewart & Stevenson former army truck. A couple transformed it into an incredible overland expedition rig with all the standard fixtures plus a “garage” and a cab so full of switches and controls it’ll make your head spin. (Don’t miss the actual helicopter joystick mounted next to the driver’s seat.)

They’ve got it under control, though, and they apparently have ever since they took it 220,000 miles around the world in 2020.
