User Friendly Design
Twelve vents allow for plenty of airflow. The chin strap is designed to avoid pinching, making life easier when you’re trying to get a little one out the door. The sides and rear of the helmet extend lower for extra protection. MIPS technology helps reduce the risk of rotational injury. An optional integrated rear LED light (sold separately) helps visibility in low light conditions.
Clever Fit System
Certified by the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), the Gekko is built for kids ages 5 and up. Our clever AutoFit Fit System automatically adjusts to fit your child’s head without creating pressure points or hot spots. The ‘one size fits all means that the helmet will fit them for longer as they grow.
AutoFit
The easiest fit system. Simply pull the AutoFit rear basket open, put the helmet on the head, and the system will automatically adjust itself for an optimal fit. Adjusts each time the helmet is put on, making it ideal for growing heads
Rechargeable rear LED light compatible
This helmet is compatible with the Gekko integrated LED tail light which improves visibility from the rear in low light conditions. Rechargeable by USB.
MIPS layer
The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) helps reduce the risk of rotational brain injury by isolating your head from the rotation of the helmet shell in the event of an impact.
Side and rear protection
The dropped profile provides additional coverage and protection around the sides and rear of the head.
Unisize
One size fits all. The helmet shell and fit system is designed to accommodate a wide variety of head sizes and shapes.
