Observe Skiers, Riders Via Billows of Pow in ‘Float’ by Giro Sport Design

Who doesn’t love a poetic take on winter sports? With multiple perspectives and a jammin’ soundtrack, ‘Float’ will make you head for the mountains.

With its latest film, “Float,” Giro Sport Design follows riders “chasing the feeling of weightlessness.” (Hence the name.)

Watching these pro skiers and snowboarders race down a perfect mountain of powder, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the moment. It’s easy to feel the sensation of floating on top of the snow and flying down the hill. You can almost hear the call of the mountains over this movie’s killer soundtrack. Which was exactly Giro Sport Design’s intention.

“We all crave those moments when all distractions fall away, and we lock into life in the mountains. Those euphoric moments of surf, float, and weightlessness sit at the apex for many of us,” the video’s description says.

Wait for the moment the film turns black and white. Ski documentaries don’t get prettier than this.
