[ad_1]

Coming soon from the Diamondback Bicycles crew are the new Mission Carbon 1 and Mission Carbon 2 all-mountain bikes. Both seem to be well spec’d, affordable long-travel full-suspension rigs, with the Mission 1 coming in at a surprising sub $5k!

Check out some of the deets from Diamondbacks below!

Mmmm, love the tasty Olive Matte on the Mission 1.

Short-link 4-bar suspension on both the Mission 1 & 2 gives you 160mm of rear wheel travel joining the monocoque carbon front & rear triangles with forged aluminum rocker links. Add long 180mm travel forks to smash any terrain.

Diamondback says:  “The Mission is back with even better bump-eating updates. The Mission Carbon 1 has 180mm of travel up front and 160mm in the back. It has a carbon monocoque frame with a Marzocchi Bomber CR coil shock. The Mission 1C also comes equipped with a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork, SRAM Code R hydraulic brakes, and a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain. Tubeless-Ready 27.5″ x 2.4″ tires mounted to Blanchard rims allow you to convert to a tubeless setup.”

The $4525 Mission Carbon 1 comes in one color, Dark Olive Matte, and in three sizes S-L to fit riders 5’4″ to 6’2″.

A mechanical SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain puts the power down on the Mission 2.

According to Diamondback: “The Mission Carbon 2 is longer, lower, and slacker. With 180mm of travel up front and 160mm in the back. The Mission 2C comes equipped with a Fox 38 Performance fork up front and a Fox Float X2 Performance shock for the rear. It stops using SRAM Code RSC brakes. The drivetrain is the SRAM X01 Eagle. The Mission Carbon 2 is also equipped with 27.5″ tubeless-ready, 2.4″ tires with wheels in the form of the Race Face ARC rims.”

The $6100 Mission Carbon 2 also comes in one color, Red, and in the same three sizes (S-L). Plus, Diamondback offer free shipping on all bikes over $349.
