100%® Switches Things Up In The 2022 Peter Sagan Limited-Edition Collection
The Limited-Edition Collection features a bold design— mimicking the eccentric personality of seven-time Tour de France Green Jersey winner.
100%®, the San Diego-based sports performance company, has announced the launch of the 2022 Peter Sagan Limited Edition Collection. The collection features a bold interpretation of a tie-dye design that represents Peter’s colorful journey with new Team TotalEnergies. The design’s emblazoned frames blend bright colors with triple layer purple mirrored lenses, which is a stark contrast to Sagan’s prior LE collections. By wildly tweaking, and then finely tuning the Team TotalEnergies logo colors, we realized a pattern to echo Peter’s unconventional and eccentric personality and riding style.
“I feel like this is one of my most creative executions to date with 100%,” said Peter Sagan “Personally, working with the brand’s Co-Founders Marc and Ludo to create something unique year after year is always something I look forward to. They continue to empower me to express my personality in creating products that connect with my soul. The bond we have forged is unbreakable, and I look forward to continuing down this path with a true partner.”
“Peter has been a 100% brand champion since 2017 and continues to echo the voice of our brand’s innovation and personality. He has been instrumental in fine-tuning the performance and craftsmanship of our sport performance eyewear for years,” said Gwen van Lingen, VP of Global Sales & Marketing. “We love working with Peter because he always knows what he wants, which is the best product out there, and we strive to exceed his expectations year after year. Peter has a unique and boisterous style, and we wanted to showcase that by amplifying his character in our most advanced sunglasses. I feel we accomplished that with this amazing collection!”
The 2022 Sagan LE Collection is offered in some of the best-selling 100% performance eyewear models — S3, S2, and Speedcraft. The S3 blends form and function at the highest level. The superb peripheral field of view, great protection and an uncompromising fit makes the S3 a great choice for fast riding and racing. The lower-profile S2 is the most versatile sports-performance eyewear on the market and is ideal for everyday performance across a wide range of sports. The cylindrical shield of the SPEEDCRAFT offers 360-degree visibility and protection in the most extreme racing conditions. Each sunglass will come with 100% x Sagan LE Special Edition Tie-Dye packaging and pouch.

MAAP’s OffCuts Sustainable Program Returns – Giving Excess Fabrics A New Life
MAAP has launched the latest phase of its OffCuts Program, the flagship initiative in the Australian apparel company’s continued commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
Following the first launch in 2021, The OffCuts Program takes excess fabrics from previous production runs of MAAP’s most popular jerseys, and repurposes them into some of its customers’ favourite styles. MAAP has continued this program into its second year with the new multi-colourway in the brand’s signature style, the ultra-soft Evade Pro Base Jersey. The new OffCuts products will be available in both short and long sleeves for both men and women.
While the OffCuts Program presents a direct and visible way in which customers can participate in MAAP’s efforts to make it’s products more sustainable, the company is also devoting more effort than ever in its eight-year history. By choosing and processing raw materials, selecting manufacturing processes and considering its products’ end-life cycle, MAAP seeks to lead the industry on low-environmental impact cycling apparel. New for the 2022 OffCuts Program, each jersey features a handwritten label indicating its unique position in the production run.
“Our continued commitment to leaving behind a better planet than the one we inherited is manifested in the OffCuts Program. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg; we’re also continually looking at every facet of our business to make sure that wherever we can, we’re operating in the most responsible way,” said Ollie Cousins, MAAP’s co-founder.
The OffCuts Program Evade Pro Base Jersey is available online June 30 in limited quantities via maap.cc and from select MAAP retailers.

About the CORE sensor
The CORE sensor is the first wearable solution that captures highly accurate core body temperature with the convenience of being compact, integrated with sports devices and reusable. Traditionally athletes seeking accurate core body temperature measurements have relied on internal thermometers such as e-pills or rectal thermometers. The CORE sensor has fewer limitations and as it integrates seamlessly, it has the advantages of many of other sports sensors with simplicity and ease-of-use.
Elise Chabbey from CANYON//SRAM
During intense and sustained sporting activity, core body temperatures can naturally rise above 39ºC / 102.2ºF. The drop in power output occurs as the body diverts oxygen-rich blood away from the muscles for power generation and to the skin where sweat evaporation helps the body to cool.
With core body temperature monitoring, riders can undertake more effective heat training to condition themselves and improve their performance when they get hot. Real-time data helps riders counteract rising core body temperature and assists in identifying the most effective cooling approaches to help them keep cooler for longer.
CORE supply seven WorldTeams racing at the Tour de France, BORA-hansgrohe, Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl, Movistar, Trek-Segafredo, Lotto Soudal, INEOS Grenadiers and Astana along with leading women’s teams CANYON//SRAM, Trek Segafredo, Ceratizit WNT and Roland Edelweiss.
Design a Unique Colnago for the Tour de France
Giving a green light to creativity and imagination, the competition will offer the chance to enjoy a unique and innovative experience.
Colnago launches a contest to design the paint scheme of the Tour de France official bike. Enthusiasts of the brand are offered the chance to submit a design proposal for the Tour de France official bike, that will be, for the second consecutive year, produced by Colnago. The contest launched by Colnago involves the creation of a special paint scheme for what will be the official bike of the Tour de France, the world’s premier stage race.
The frame for the competition will be the new ‘PROTOTIPO’, which is still being developed with the UAE Team Emirates riders. The proposal must be submitted by filling in a form on this page (https://colnagotdf.carrd.co/ ) by July 10th. The winner will be selected by an internal Colnago technical jury whose criteria will primarily reward feasibility and beauty. The winning bike will be put into production as a one-off and will then be used by a UAE Team Emirates rider on the final stage of the Tour de France, the final catwalk between the Champs-Élysées in Paris, to be then auctioned off.
Bravur Watches: Presenting the New La Grande Boucle 2022 Edition
It’s not only time for the Grand Départ in Copenhagen, it’s also time to present the 2022 edition of the La Grande Boucle chronograph, inspired by the biggest and most prestigious bike race in the world – the Tour de France!
The wet asphalt colored dial features a polka dot pattern with glossy black dots, an homage to the iconic king of the mountains jersey, awarded to the best climber in the race. The beautiful thing about the polka dot pattern is that it will change its character depending on the light, ranging from hardly visible to stark contrast.
The lume infilled hour indices makes it easy to read the time at a glance even when it’s dark. Something familiar with the design of the 12H index? The inspiration comes from the famous milestones you’ll find on French climbs. Just the kind of discreet cycling references we like to incorporate into our designs.
It’s pretty much impossible designing a Tour de France inspired chronograph without the presence of yellow, and on the La Grande Boucle we have carefully added contrasting details in yellow to improve readability. For those who find the yellow colored details too sparse, it’s possible to get the watch on a yellow rubber strap. The rubber strap also makes it very comfortable and durable when on the bike.
The neat 38,2 mm stainless steel case wears well on a thin cyclist wrist. It’s beautifully executed with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces and featuring a sapphire crystal on both front and back. Just like all the materials have been carefully selected, the Swiss made automatic Sellita movement, caliber SW511, has been chosen for its high quality and reliability. The rhodium plated movement features Côtes de Genève and perlé decoration, blue screws, and a custom made rotor.
The dial features a 15 minute counter at 3 o’clock, perfect for timing intervals, a 12 hour counter at 6 o’clock and a small second at 9 o’clock. The main second hand will start once you press the chronograph pusher.
La Grande Boucle is strictly limited to 50 watches, with each watch being numbered on the case back.
All Bravur watches are hand built in Båstad, Sweden, on order. The lead time is approximately 2 weeks, and the La Grande Boucle is available at bravurwatches.com from July 1, starting at $2,550/SEK 25 900, depending on choice of strap.
La Grande Boucle is a part of our Grand Tour chronograph series, consisting of three models, drawing inspiration from the three grand tours. This year the Grand Tour chronograph series also includes our Bravur x EF Education-EasyPost team edition chronograph, developed together with the WorldTour team.
