Aptitude within the Forest: How Path Builders Share Sources within the Pacific Northwest

[ad_1]

What goes into building mountain bike trails in the Pacific Northwest? More than you’d expect, as shown in this new film by Pearl Izumi.

Most of us are familiar with nature shows and documentaries. The slow and poignant drawl of the narrator keeps us clued to the vast biodiversities within our planet. But how often do we think about mountain biking environments in that way?

In this Mark Matthews MTB Earth film, in collaboration with Pearl Izumi, “Biodiversity of Trail Builders” takes us on a journey through lush forests and the wild creatures that inhabitant them.

Various trail builders scatter these lands, adding their flair to the forest. However, there is one major challenge — paradise is crowded. So, trail builders must learn to work together and share the limited resources.

“The stoke of the pack pushes one another to new heights,” the narrator croons. Fire up the player to be transported to the temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest that boast some of the best mountain biking trails in existence.
